Takasaki City University of Economics representatives at WUEB
On January 14, 2020, the second scientific symposium organized together with Takasaki City University of Economics from Japan took place at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business.
Presentations on modern network economy were given by professors: Mami Hiraike Okawara, Takamune Fujii, Kenji Nozaki, Osamu Umejima and representatives of the Department of International Economic
Relations and the Department of Macroeconomics.
A delegation from Japan also met the University authorities, visited the campus, learned about Polish cuisine and visited Książ Castle. The video coverage of this stay can be seen below.
Scientific seminars are just one aspect of EU cooperation with Japanese universities. For some time we have also hosted Japanese students. Our students also have a chance to go to Japan. The
recruitment process has just started and will last until February 18, 2020. Applies to trips to three Japanese universities: Kanagawa University, Takasaki City University of Economics and Toyo
University.
