Free Mover Students
Free Mover students are welcome at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business. Taking part in the exchange as a Free Mover is possible for one semester or for the whole
academic year. Free Mover students do not receive any scholarship under the Erasmus Plus Programme and they have to pay for studies during their exchange.
Free Mover students apply individually to take part in the mobility. After writing a mail to the International Office of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, informing about their
intention to come to our University as a Free Mover, students provide the requested information and are placed on the semester list. Free Mover students need to register and prepare documents in
the same way as Erasmus students.
To assure the availability of our academic offer for all participants of international exchange, the University reserves the right to:
- limit the number of places available for Free Mover students to the level of 25 percent of Erasmus mobilities in the preceding academic year in case of students from the institutions that
have signed the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE);
- limit the number of places available for Free Mover from the institutions that have NOT signed the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) to the level of 10 percent of available Free
Mover mobilities.
Free Mover students are accepted based on the following criteria:
- if they come from the institution with ECHE, no additional requirements;
- If they come from the institution without ECHE, the following requirements have to be met:
- earlier participation in the mobility at the institution with ECHE, confirmed by the Transcript of Records issued by such institution; or
- completion of courses for at least 90 ECTS in the area of Economics, Finance, Management and Quality or International Business (corresponding to the courses forming a part of curriculum of
the above-mentioned programmes at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business); and
- motivation letter, supported by a recommendation letter prepared by an academic teacher or researcher from the student’s home institution
